In addition to this, another important factor is the sharpness of the blade. A dull blade can lead to bad performance either due to softening of the edge or to stress build-up, which could cause fissures or cracks and eventually result in serious damage to the blade. We provide guidance to our customers for sharpening and general maintenance based on each cutting application.
